About Us
Mission & Vision
Why we exist, and the future we are working towards.
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote, protect, and democratize art and culture in Rijeka and the wider Primorje-Gorski Kotar region. We create open, inclusive, and high-quality opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in artistic creation, cultural education, and community life. Through workshops, exhibitions, performances, heritage projects, and collaborations with local and international partners, we nurture creativity, strengthen social cohesion, support emerging artists, and preserve the cultural identity of our city for future generations.
Accessibility
Culture that is free or affordable, physically reachable and clearly communicated.
Creativity
Space and support for every person to make, try and express.
Education
Practical learning for children, young people, adults and seniors.
Heritage
Recording and passing on the living memory of Rijeka and Kvarner.
Community
Bringing neighbours, generations and cultures together.
Our Vision
We envision a Croatia where art and culture are not a privilege but a shared right, where every child can discover their talent, every artist can find a platform, every senior can share their story, and every community is enriched by its cultural life. We see Rijeka as a vibrant, welcoming, and creative European city where culture is a bridge between generations, traditions, and nations.
