Five connected programmes, one goal: a city where everyone can create, experience and belong to a living culture.
Programme 1
Painting, drawing, ceramics, crafts, photography, music, creative writing and theatre for children, youth, adults and seniors.
Our workshops are the heart of everything we do. They are small, warm and practical: a table, good materials, a patient mentor and a group of people who want to try something new. Nobody needs prior experience, and nobody is graded.

Programme 2
Exhibitions, concerts, literary evenings, film screenings, open studios and seasonal cultural festivals.
Culture is lived together. We organise public events that bring artists and audiences into the same room, in galleries, community halls, courtyards and open-air spaces across Rijeka.

After-school creative clubs, school partnerships, mentorship for young artists, digital creativity and media literacy through art.
Young people deserve more than consumption of culture; they deserve the tools to make it. Our youth programmes give children and teenagers space to experiment, to fail safely and to build something they are proud of.

Art for people with disabilities, intergenerational projects, programmes for migrants and minorities, and art for wellbeing.
Rijeka has always been a city of arrivals: of sailors, workers, families and refugees. Our inclusion programmes start from the belief that everyone belongs in the cultural life of the city, regardless of ability, age, origin or income.

Documenting local traditions, oral history of Rijeka, preservation of crafts, heritage walks and work with museums and archives.
Heritage is not only stone and archives; it is the recipes, songs, crafts and stories that people carry with them. Many of these are fragile and disappear quietly when nobody writes them down.

Cooperation with partners across Europe in the spirit of Erasmus+ and Creative Europe, so that artists and young people from Rijeka can learn abroad and welcome guests at home.
Short residencies that give visiting and local artists time and space to work, followed by open presentations for the public.
An open online archive for the oral histories, photographs and traditions we collect, free for anyone to explore.
A permanent, accessible space in Rijeka where workshops, exhibitions and neighbours can meet every day of the week.
